Isabella Dussias is a 17 year old composer/singer-songwriter. She enjoys writing classical music, film scores, and contemporary/pop music. She was an ASCAP finalist in 2016 and 2017 and 2019, as well as a Marvin Hamlisch International Film Scoring finalist in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Isabella received honorable mention in the National Young Composer’s Challenge, for her orchestral work “Colors of Spring” in 2016. Her compositions have been performed in Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Ehrbar Hall in Vienna, Austria. Her choral pieces have been performed in the greater NYC area. Isabella strongly believes in the promotion of works by female composers, and will be discussing this at the 2020 HERlead national female leadership conference. She performed her original pop songs at Kara Dioguardi’s Tri-State Rocks in 2018, the Hillsborough Music Festival in 2018, and virtually debuted an original musical theatre song in May of 2020 as part of the New York Youth Symphony Musical Theatre Composition Program.

Danielle Wu is a 17 year old composer studying at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York, NY. She attends The Juilliard School’s Pre-College Division on Saturdays and New York Youth Symphony on Thursdays, both for composition. In addition to that, she is also a flutist and a pianist.
